About the Artist
Em is a multidisciplinary artist and ceramicist based on unceded Lekwungen and W̱SÁNEĆ territories ("Victoria, BC").
Em has been working with clay for over 7 years after taking a class in 2017 and falling in love. Inspired by flora and fauna, the occult, folk art, they use organic textures and earth tones to create homewares and sculptures intended to occupy a cherished, heirloom place in your home.
SADIE GOODS also expands into stained glass, metalwork, jewelry, and textiles.
Em has a passion for sharing their love of pottery with others through teaching and workshops, and has spent many years working with children and adults of all ages.
They currently are a resident teacher at Touci Ceramic Studio.
Em has been mentored in metalwork by Lacey Janette at Little Gold.
